Refund & cancellation policy
Last updated: 26 April 2026
1. Who processes payments
L.E.O. products are sold in accordance with our Terms of Service and our payment provider’s buyer/payment terms where applicable (currently Polar). This policy is our commercial refund stance in addition to those rules.
2. General rule — no refunds (digital / delivered)
L.E.O. offers digital goods and licenses (including one-time licenses and, where available, ongoing subscriptions) that are made available to you immediately or shortly after payment, often before you are able to assess long-term use.
Except for the limited cases in section 3, all fees are non-refundable once the purchase or renewal has completed. We do not offer returns for change of mind, subjective dissatisfaction, failure to use the product, or compatibility with every device, OS, or browser beyond what the product page or documentation states. There are no partial refunds for unused time on a subscription for the current billing period after it has been charged, unless a mandatory law in your country requires otherwise.
3. Very limited exceptions we will consider (no guarantee)
We may correct or refund only in these tight situations, each subject to evidence and, where it applies, payment-provider review:
- Duplicate charge or clear double billing for the same product and period, once verified in payment records.
- We failed to provide access or a license key you paid for after a reasonable help period via support@leoapp.eu (e.g. no delivery and our records show no fulfillment) — the remedy is typically delivery of what you bought, or, only if that is not possible, a refund of the affected charge as payment-provider process allows.
- Where payment rules or a court/agency in your country require a different outcome after a dispute — we and our payment provider will follow that requirement in line with the law.
4. Cancellations (subscriptions)
Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select at checkout. You are responsible for turning off auto-renewal or cancelling in the billing customer or billing experience before the next charge if you do not want to continue. A cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period.
5. How to request help (for billing errors, not for taste)
For possible duplicate charges, missing license delivery, or account access, email support@leoapp.eu with your order or receipt from the payment provider and a short description. We do not use “refunds” for general support — use the same address for support questions. Do not initiate a chargeback as a first step; contact us and, where it applies, payment-provider support per their terms, so the issue can be resolved without extra fees to you and to us.
6. Your statutory rights (EEA, UK, and other consumers)
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence (for example, rights that cannot be waived by contract under EU/EEA, UK, or other consumer law). In some cases the law may give you a right to withdraw or remedy in a time window, including for digital content, subject to the conditions in your local rules (e.g. whether performance started with your prior express consent and waiver of withdrawal for digital). If a mandatory rule conflicts with a sentence above, the mandatory rule wins.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
